Big Rock
This is the boathouse of Camp Big Rock, a secluded hideaway on Upper Saranac Lake in upstate New York. The Great Camps were private havens of the Gilded Age tycoons. These camps were palatial yet rustic compounds where family members and friends would gather in the summer to hike, fish, canoe, play tennis, swim and dine lavishly without ever having to leave their private camp. Upper Saranac Lake, Saranac, New York. October 2018.
