Green Turtle
For many years in my working career, I covered the territory of Bermuda. My days and nights were filled with appointments seeing clients and I rarely took the time to visit and enjoy the beautiful island. On my way back to the airport, I would always ask the taxi driver to make a stop at The Bermuda Aquarium so I could visit with the turtles. There were always a few swimming in an outdoor pool. This photo is of a Green Sea Turtle. While their shell is olive color, they are strictly herbivores eating only plants such as seagrass and algae. This diet gives them greenish-colored fat. It would always make me so happy to see them. Bermuda Aquarium, Flatts Village, Bermuda.
