The New York Stock Exchange
The New York Stock Exchange is located in the heart of the Financial District. This beautifully designed building is a historic landmark in New York City. The NYX has acquired by ICE and is no longer a separately traded company. The electronic age has replaced the trading of yore. The floor of the New York Stock Exchange glows with colorful neon screens, with far fewer traders and brokers running around the floor, frantically scribbling on note pads and crowding specialists pits. It now also serves as a setting for TV business broadcasting for CNBC and is a popular tourist spot.
